Do we ever get, if we just concentrate on getting more. Give more without worrying about getting.
There are employees who say they don’t want to give. They want first more money to serve better or to be more productive. But sadly they end up being the ones that don’t get a raise or they are the first ones to been leased from the work.
There also are employers who say that they want first to see the results to commit to the employees. They don´t give the training before results, but can they get results without the training. Remember that good management is free. More you give it, more successful others will be.
This applies too all. Are we willing to give or do we expect more for us. Is it more important what community gives us than what we give to the community. Will we treat the spouse badly because we don’t get enough support. What if we treat the other person well and for the sudden surprise notice that the other one is changing his or her behavior. Do we expect the girl in the market to smile and serve us or can we be the ones lightening her day by smiling and being nice. Do the children get ice cream after they have cleaned the room and behaved nicely or do they get ice cream just for being wonderful them.
Giving is not easy and it requires practice. Start with little steps and do something
today, smile to a stranger, open the door to someone, make coffee to your colleagues. Do acts of love. Give more than you get.
